CELLAVIT SUPERIOR DECK OIL |
 |
|
The distinguising feature of this cellavit brand product is the asethetic appeal of the treated timber surface. This is achieved through the inclusion of tung oil and lanolin derivatives
Water repellent timber preservative, providing long term protection from moisture ingress and moisture movement which causes weathering effects and leads to the break down of a timber.
For use on all durable and non durable decking timbers, both treated and non-treated.
Prevents the undesirable physical problems of timber cupping, checking, warping, cracking, splitting, swelling, splintering and grain-raising. It also eliminates the fungal problem of blackening.
This product has a longer performance life than any of its competing products on the australian market, the recoating period being between 3 to 5 years, the actual period being dependent on the prevailing environmental factors.

CELLAVIT INDUSTRIAL CLEAR |
 |
|
A water repellent wood preservative providing total protection from both physical weathering effects and fungal decay (wood-rot).
This cellavit product is the base product to the cellavit product range. The other three in the range are – superior deck oil, green and general purpose clear - all containing additives for specific functions.
Industrial clear may best be described as a moisture management product, where the specific function is to seal moisture in to and out of wood. Essentially, it seals moisture inside the wood - generally anywhere between 5% and 20% - in, and seals moisture outside the wood – condensation, tropical and sub-tropical humidity, mist, rainfall and suchlike – out.
Suitable for use to prevent leaching of timber and wood preservatives such as cca, acq, losp and boron and other pressure treated or dipped application preservative chemicals. Also commonly used for protecting floors and structural timbers from moisture prior to and during construction.

ProtecTimber |
 |
|
The active ingredient is elemental boron, a unique and naturally occurring chemical with inherent fungicidal and insecticidal properties.
PROTECTIMBER is a water-based, boron formulation and as such is versatile in application methods and clean-up.
The mode of application can be dipping, spraying, painting or spot injection. The formulation is of low mammalian toxicity. Once applied to the prepared timber surface boron transfers progressively into the water contained in the timber.
All timber contains water, typically between 5% and 20%. In addition to boron’s safety in use, and unlike all synthetic preservation chemicals, it does not suffer from degradation over time. Once applied and taken up by a timber to the appropriate rates, if boron is not leached, it remains fully active and protective for the life of the timber in service, both protecting against insect attack and fungal decay.
